Hits on the social media platform Instagram are usually not found by our crawler. This is because Instagram's domain cannot be actively searched by us. If you have found a use of one of your images on Instagram, you will need to report the hit manually.
However, before you report a hit on Instagram manually, you should take a closer look at the Instagram account: If you think it is of a commercial nature, we are happy to pursue the case. If it is a private Instagram account, we will reject the case.
How do I find the image URL on Instagram?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to find the image URL on Instagram using the usual method (right click on the image in question, open image in new tab). First, you will have to open the Instagram post in your normal browser and not in the Instagram App. You then have to take a look into the source code of the page to get to the link. To do so, right-click on the image and select "Inspect".
This will open the source code in which you have to search for the image URL. This most likely contains the following domain "cdninstagram.com".
If you are not able to find the image URL, you can of course contact our customer support. Simply write to us via the chat and send us the link to the publication, then we will be happy to help you!
